This Policy explains how deposits, cancellations and refunds work for Depra Studios engagements. It is a general template and should be reviewed by your legal counsel before reliance. Specific terms in your signed proposal take precedence.
1. Deposits
Most projects begin with an upfront deposit to reserve your build slot and start work. The deposit is applied against your total project fee.
2. Cancellations
You may cancel an engagement at any time with written notice. On cancellation, you are charged for all work completed and committed up to the cancellation date; any remaining balance from your deposit beyond that is refunded.
3. Refunds
- Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has begun, except for the portion exceeding work completed.
- If we are unable to deliver agreed work and no acceptable alternative is reached, we refund amounts paid for undelivered work.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period.
4. Revisions & scope
Each engagement includes a defined number of revision rounds. Work beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately and is not a basis for a refund of completed work.
5. Subscriptions & retainers
Ongoing services (such as marketing retainers) are billed per cycle and can be cancelled before the next cycle. Fees already paid for the current cycle are non-refundable.
